When did I start making lures?
It all started 3 years ago when I was cleaning my workshop and found a piece of wood in the shape of a classic wooden lure. It gave me an idea. I didn't start making the lure right away; first, I thought about it and watched videos on YouTube. I understood the process, and a few days later, I started sanding the wood by hand. I didn't have many tools, let alone paints, protective varnishes, or epoxy, nothing. Month after month, I bought new tools, wires, paints, epoxies, and gradually machines for woodworking. I perfected techniques, understood different types of lures, and after quite a few unsuccessful tests, I finally succeeded with good working lures that are now sold all over Slovenia!
How long have I been fishing?
Unfortunately, I don't remember when I first held a fishing rod, but my grandfather Zdravko had and still has a great influence on my beginning. He introduced me to the world of fishing. It all started at Mačkovci pond near Brestanica. I was about 8 years old when I caught my first fish. Countless hours at the pond, every day after school, and that's how I became obsessed. Then a few years later, I went fishing on the Sava River in Brestanica, I didn't catch any fish, and I became interested in why the river was harder than the pond. That's how a new story began: the Sava River.
